Can u activate the Iphone 3g with a At&t pre-paid?

i saw a vid on youtube ( it was the news) and they were talking about the Iphone 3g and said it might be pre-paid
Trippy is right. You cannot get the 3G iPhone on prepaid. You can only get the old iPhone on prepaid.

No, the 3g will not be available for prepaid. All purchases require a new two year contract.

AT&T announced that they will not be allowing Pay-as-you Go for iPhone 3G
the reason is the $30 a month data plan
that's how they get you, they charge only $200 for the phone but $30 a month for data so pay as you go would make them LOSE money
