Best and CHEAPEST time to travel to Israel and Egypt?
My friend and I are looking to travel to Israel and then to Egypt for close to a month with in the next two years. The time for travel is totally open.
When is the best and cheapest time and way to travel from JFK (meaning, fly into Tel Aviv or Egypt?)
We’re two females in our mid 20’s and will not be with any males, though we have friends in the countries we will see.
Any advice is welcome!
i’d suggest late november or early march. it’s not so rainy and also not too hot.
if you want to spend lots of time on the beach i’d suggest june or september. but try to avoid rammadan in egypt and the jewish holidays in israel (sept and oct this year).

yeah I always go in January. its never cheap, but its the cheapest you will find. Israel will be cold at that time but you will definitely be able to travel and see places. I would guess that flights to egypt are cheaper so you may want to start there. Its simply less demandable so it will probably be cheaper. and then you can cross the border to go to israel. that guy that said you should avoide high holidays is right. dont go in September. and off course dont go in the summer June-Sept will be most expensive. and also Passover to fly to israel which is April will be expensive.
