Has the USA become a 3rd world nation with 1 of every 50 children now homeless, living in tents, under bridges and elsewhere?
There's always been inequality issue in America, millions of people survived from pay check to pay check.
1-50 homeless is only the tip of the iceburg, many more are living in sub standard conditions, in sub standard situations too.
The situation is not that bad in 3rd world countries, they do still have closer family ties, someone to turn to.
